This notice explains how iGEducation Limited handles personal information for My One Page Profile. It is intended for schools, education professionals, parents, carers and learners who use the service.
Who controls the information
iGEducation Limited provides the application. Where a school or education setting creates profiles for learners, that setting is normally responsible for deciding what information is entered and ensuring it has an appropriate lawful basis to use it.
Information entered into the app
The app may contain teacher account details, class names, learner names, profile text, photos and additional learning provision notes. Users should only enter information that is relevant, proportionate and appropriate for the profile being created.
How information is used
Information is used to create, edit, save, view and print one page profiles. It is not used for advertising. Access should be limited to staff and authorised people who need the information for education, support or safeguarding purposes.
GDPR principles
Users should follow UK GDPR principles, including lawfulness, fairness, transparency, purpose limitation, data minimisation, accuracy, storage limitation, integrity and confidentiality. Special category information and children's data should be handled with additional care.
Retention and deletion
Schools and users should delete profiles when they are no longer needed. Requests about access, correction or deletion can be sent to igeducationlimited@gmail.com and should include enough context to identify the relevant account or setting.
